Kidsville Admissions

Your child is learning their first words, making their first friends and discovering the world for the first time. Here's how to join a Kidsville center, step by step.

Admissions Process

Enrolment is the same at all three Kidsville centers: Burlington, Scarborough and Acton.

  1. Register your interest

Complete our online registration form for your preferred center and program. There's no fee or deposit to join, and you'll get an email confirming we've received it.

  2. Join the waitlist

Your child is added to the waitlist for that center and program. You can ask the center supervisor about your child's position at any time.

  3. We contact you when a spot opens

When a space becomes available, we email interested families in waitlist order. Please reply within 48 hours so we can keep the list moving.

  4. Book a tour

Visit the center, meet the supervisor and educators, see the classrooms and ask all your questions.

  5. Enrol through Kindertales

To accept your spot, complete the e-enrolment link sent through the Kindertales app: enrolment agreement, emergency contacts, immunization records and a one-month security deposit to confirm your place.

  6. Settle in

Your child starts with three short settling-in visits during the first week, so the first full day feels familiar.

Good to Know

A few things families often ask about enrolment.

High demand

All three centers offer CWELCC fees of $22/day, so spaces fill quickly and waitlists are long. We recommend registering as early as possible.

September is the big intake

Most spaces open in September, when our oldest children graduate to kindergarten. Most offers go out in spring for the following September; mid-year offers depend on openings.

Order of offers

Within each program, offers go to children of staff, then siblings of current and former Kidsville children, then families in the order their form was received.

Age matters

Toddler spaces are for 18 to 30 months and Preschool (Casa) for 2.5 to 6 years. A child turning 2.5 before January 1 moves to the Preschool waitlist.

Keeping the list current

We check in with every family on the waitlist once a year by email. Please reply by the deadline to keep your place.

Fair and transparent

Joining is free, and we never accept payment to move a child up the list. Your family's information always stays private.
