Montessori-Inspired Child Care for Toddlers & Preschoolers

Where little hands make big discoveries.

Kidsville is a group of licensed, Montessori-inspired early learning centers in Burlington, Scarborough and Acton. Children learn by doing, at their own pace, in calm and thoughtfully prepared classrooms that build independence, curiosity and kindness.

What Children Gain at Kidsville

Independent

Children dress, pour, tidy and choose their own work, building real-life skills every day.

Curious

Hands-on materials invite children to explore, ask questions and find answers themselves.

Kind

Grace and courtesy are part of every day, so children learn to share, take turns and care for friends.

Confident

Working at their own pace, children finish what they start and feel proud of it.

Our Mission

At Kidsville, we see every child as competent, capable, curious and rich in potential. Our mission is to provide an environment rich in purpose and experience that inspires, motivates and empowers children to reach their full learning potential.

Our approach is Montessori-inspired: we prepare a calm, beautiful environment with child-sized materials, then follow the child, guiding rather than directing.

Our Montessori Philosophy

Hands-On Montessori Classrooms

Children learn best when they can touch, try and discover for themselves. Every Kidsville classroom is organized into practical life, sensorial, language, arithmetic and culture areas, where children choose their work, take it to a mat or table, and return it when they're done.

Our families' feedback encourages us every day: parents tell us their children are more independent at home, calmer through the day and proud of what they can do.

Nutritious Meals & Snacks

Every full day at Kidsville includes three meals: a morning snack, a hot lunch and an afternoon snack, served with water or milk. Fresh, dietitian-approved menus rotate every four weeks and follow Canada's Food Guide.

Our menus are nut-free, and we offer substitutes for vegetarian, vegan and Halal diets and for children who avoid specific foods. Children help set the table and serve themselves, so every meal is also a chance to practise independence and good manners.

Our Caring Educators

Our classrooms are led by Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) and MACTE-trained Montessori educators, supported by experienced Early Childhood Assistants (ECAs). All staff hold Standard First Aid and Level C CPR and a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.

Our educators take part in professional learning every year through workshops on professional activity days, The Halton Resource Connection and the College of ECE, so they keep growing alongside the children they care for.

Toddler Program · 18 to 30 months

Your toddler's first classroom should feel safe and familiar. Small groups, gentle settling-in visits and a calm, predictable day help children find their feet, while child-sized tools invite them to try things for themselves: pouring their own water, pulling on their own boots, putting things back where they belong.

Preschool Program (Casa) · 2.5 to 6 years

In Montessori, the preschool room is the Casa dei Bambini, the "Children's House". It's a community where children choose meaningful work, receive new lessons when they're ready, and take real pride in caring for their classroom and each other.
